The Pipe Surface Peeler (PSP) is the simplest tool for removal of contamination from the pipe outside diameter to prepare for electrofusion installation of couplings and other fittings.
Easy to use and can be operated with one hand only
Features:
- Removes a continuous peel of material from the pipe OD
- For use on straight or coiled pipe, at pipe ends only (coupling installation)

- Internal mandrel helps with tool alignment and provides consistent feed rate for each revolution of the tool
- Spring loaded cutting tool follows contour of pipe even with oval/out-of-round conditions (within pipe manufacturers’ limits)
- Cutting tool can be retracted during installation/removal of tool to prevent gouging of pipe surface
- Replaceable cutting tool made from hardened High Speed Steel
